For 29 years, I have worked across the full path from architecture and implementation to organizational design, hiring, coaching, and accountable delivery.

I am most useful where the technical and human systems cannot be separated: modernization, platform engineering, developer tooling, AI-assisted workflows, and product infrastructure.

Lead from the front

I believe engineering leadership should remain close enough to the work to recognize friction early, make credible tradeoffs, and help a team through the difficult parts—not merely inspect the outcome afterward.

Current work

I build open-source agent infrastructure through 11 Mile Labs, operate product and consulting work through 11 Mile Co, and am developing Patina CRM for service businesses.
